The company started as a small garage operation in 2016. Owner Kyle Dunkinson grew up in the Pacific Northwest in the town of Gig Harbor. He has always loved spending time outdoors and knew from a young age that he enjoyed making things with his own two hands. His first tools were gifted to him by his grandfather, and he carries his grandfather’s core values with him in his everyday business.  

NW Custom Woodwork strives to see its projects through the full wood lifecycle, meaning wood is sourced from dying trees or reclaimed from other sources, processed, then made into incredible new pieces that will last multiple lifetimes.
